GSPro Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

I often see the same questions repeated on GSPro Discord and Facebook pages, so I thought it would be a great idea to consolidate into a common FAQ list for first time (and even long-time GSPro users. I will update this post over time as I see the content needs changing. I hope this is helpful to players of GSPro golf simulation software.

What launch monitors are officially supported with GSPro?

  • Uneekor EyeXO
  • Uneekor QED
  • Flightscope Mevo+
  • Flightscope Xi
  • Flightscope X2
  • Flightscope X3

Can I use my (insert launch monitor model here) with GSPro?

GSPro has an open API/interface to connect with launch monitors that are not "Officially" supported. There are literally hundreds of GSPro players that use these launch monitors to play GSPro daily The list of launch monitors that work with GSPro currently are the following:

  • Foresight GC2/HMT
  • Foresight Quad
  • Foresight GCHawk
  • Foresight GC3
  • Bushnell Launch Pro (BLP)
  • Skytrak v1
  • Garmin R10 (no putting)

Setting up a connection is very straight forward with these devices. All instructions are provided on the GSPro / SGT Discord channel.

Will this PC/laptop work with GSPro?

There's simply no way to answer this question for every PC out there, so here is my current suggestion:

This will be a great PC for GSPro, especially when using a 1080p projector. If using 4k, you may want to upgrade to a 3080 graphics proecessor. I do not suggest a laptop. You want to be able to upgrade the PC over time as required. Laptops won't allow that.

I also recommend adding a blutooth adapter and active usb cable if your launch monitor requires blutooth connectivity:

What are the best courses on GSPro?

I'm biased... I have nearly 170 courses available to play in GSPro. I have listed my favorites from MY collection in this BLOG POST.

Are there any tournaments available for GSPro?

Yes indeed, you will absolutely want to join the Simulatorgolftour after purchasing GSPro. It's a great investment at just $60/year. By joining the tour you will have access to many weekly events that are flighted and segmented by skill level. Highly recommended HERE

Why isn't (insert course name here) available on GSPro yet?

ALL COURSES are built by the community. GSPro developers do not build courses. If you want a course built for GSPro there are two options, you can hire someone to build it (CONTACT ME) or you can build it yourself. The OPCD design community is the best place to start if you would like to design your own.

In addition, having trouble finding your favorite course? The course may have been renamed in GSPro for licensing reasons. Georgia Golf Club (a replica of Augusta) is a great example. There are a few others.

What is the best place for tips on how to use GSPro?

Check out my buddy Ralph's Youtube page for the latest tips on using GSPro HERE

Should I buy the lifetime or annual subscription to GSPro?

You should ABSOLUTELY buy the annual subscription. At $250/year, GSPro is simply the best software on the market and it's extremely well priced for what you are getting. By purchasing the annual license you are helping the developers continue to update the software and push the boundaries of realism in indoor golf.

Can a course be built with a compilation of the greatest golf holes?

While this is technically possible, it's not likely to happen. The time involved to pull lidar for 18 courses and somehow mesh them together in a way that makes the course play well would be complex and just about impossible.
