Tekbud Training Academy Interest Form

If you are interested in getting course design training from Tekbud (current designer of more than 230 courses for GSPro) please fill out this form and I’ll be sure to get back with you soon. For this first class I will be taking a maximum of 10 students. The course will last for 5 weeks, target date yet to be decided but I plan to start in December. If you fill out this form and are not one of the first 10, I will add you to a waiting list for my next session. I’ll email you with the details of the next session when I have them.

My price for the course will be $299. This will include providing you with the lidar terrain package (an $80 value.) If you already have a lidar package, the cost to you will be $249. This price will only be for this first session. I will re-evaluate pricing and student headcount for future sessions.

Your end result will be a BASIC course that is 100% playable. This is not meant for advanced courses. I will offer an advanced “Add-on” with future sessions.

These classes will be live online and will be recorded. By filling out this form you are giving me the right to record the session, including the corresponding Zoom call (your face) for future use.

Wednesday evenings are generally available (sessions will be recorded so it's not mandatory you attend them all)

Steps for checking Lidar below. Lidar is absolutely necessary for the training:

Go to the web page - https://apps.nationalmap.gov/downloader/
IN the upper right hand portion of the screen - click the 4 squares and then ‘Images Only”
Enter the address or course name and address in the area marked “Find address or Place”
Once you can see your entire course in the window, click Elevation Window is selected.
Click on Search Products.
Results will show up if lidar is available.
Hover over each of the results and if a green square appears over the course there is lidar available for that area. Make sure the entire course is covered.
Check the date on the lidar to be sure that it’s not too old. If it is old and there have been no recent renovations to the course it’s fine.
